Went there with my dear friend for the first time today. Ample places to eat outside but we chose to eat inside to taking all the interesting memorabilia. The restaurant was so well decorated and the tables and chairs so new looking yet with the total 50s look. Dining there was like stepping back in time to the glorious 50’s. They played that uplifting retro music for the inside and the outside of the restaurant which added to the wonderful ambience. I am a picky vegetarian and I found a delicious black bean burger that was awesome. The fries were absolutely delicious. They tasted like they were fresh cut so I’m sure they were and they were the best I’ve had in such a long time! My friend had a strawberry milkshake that would have been the same one they drank in Happy Days and the big daddy burger that he said he was out of this world. I food took a little bit longer to cook and the absolutely delightful, friendly and kind server named Jamie offered us dessert on the house. We were so full though and we would have paid her anyway because she was a really fantastic waitress. The whole experience was absolutely wonderful and I recommend this restaurant to anybody passing through. In fact it’s so good I recommend people do big detours to get to this place!
June 20, 2021. We came back after 2 yrs. I will change my review from 4 stars to just only 2 stars. Staff Jo was rude to us. 2 yrs ago review. . The place has a character. Neat and fancy for a remote diner! The staff are great. Food is great. Price is decent.
Had lunch with my sister-in-law on Saturday for her birthday. She had the pulled pork sandwich with grilled cheese on brown bread and fries and a club soda with lemon. I had a large chocolate milkshake and the James Dean Burger with bacon, tomato, lettuce and topped off with an onion ring and fries, I like mine a little extra crispy. We sat outside on a very nice and clean picnic table, due to not being able to eat indoors due to the Covid-19. Both of our meals were delicious! Highly recommend! :)
We had a take out dinner the other night and really enjoyed it. I had the Fonzie Burger and really liked the taste of the carmelized onions on it. My wife had a cheese and bacon burger and also enjoyed it. The servings of fries and onion rings were quite large. We would definitely go there again for burgers????????
